Mickley Stud comprises some six hundred acres of deep feeding
loam and is an excellent place to rear thoroughbreds.
The broodmares have access to all the nutrients and minerals
that are required to promote good bone growth for their foals from this
strong land.
Large paddocks and a tranquil setting allow the horses
room to develop their full genetic potential. Running the youngsters in
matched groups fosters their completive temperament as they play and helps
develops their lungs.
The gently undulating pastures promote balance and encourages
muscle development.
Brood mares can be boarded here full time and can be walked
in to stallions if required effecting a considerable saving.
The permanent staff have been with Richard for many years
and the team has a wealth of experience in all departments.
